Dance is our passion.

Established in 2006 at Cornell University, BreakFree is an open style dance group and registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that embraces the founding principle, “Dance to Inspire.” Each year, BreakFree aims to bring its artistic and community-centric values to new heights by competing around the East Coast, hosting free dance workshops for all levels and styles, as well as curating an annual showcase. BreakFree seeks to foster a passion for dance and appreciation of any and all styles on our team & in our community. We have been featured in USA Today, the UK Daily Mail, the Huffington Post, and the Cornell Daily Sun.
